The first event of our 50th Reunion has occurred. Our float was so fun!!! Our theme was: "Happy 50 Years of What Ever After". Karen Harrison Schriever was chairperson for the float and Rose Mayer VanDiggelen put the float together. Karen and her mother made about 8 poodle skirts for some ot the girls to wear. (We really looked the part!) The guys wore blue jeans and white t-shirts with the sleeves rolled up. David Hart and Milt Russon even had their Letter Jackets. Others on the float were Janet Golightly Park, Kathy Wilson Criddle, Joan Mann Simons, Linda Harrison Mitchell, Elsie Peterson Anderson , Jan Packard Miller, Karen Harrison Schiever, Helen Bangerter Duncan, Karen Murri Hepworth, Mike Hepworth, Jay Dee Clark, Valerie Purvis Tolman, Jay David Tolman, Don Martin Rex Wilcox.and Lloyd Carr. Val Wilson provided the trailer and drove the truck that Marion Willey Ford donated. We had 60's music, threw candy to the kids and just laughed and waved all the way to the end. I know some of you were in the crowd. The rest of you will just have to use your imagination. Just know that we tried to represent all of you well.

INVITATIONS TO GO OUT THIS WEEK

We are sending out the invitation and registration for our 50th reunion this week. We have 155 classmates with USmail addresses and 171 with Email addresses. We ( the committee) are trying to be part of the electronic age, by using those email addresses. If for some reason you do not get your invitation by either USmail or Email, please call Karen Murri Hepworth at 801-294-4651. It has been so rewarding to talk with many of you as we got your current information. It is going to be GREAT to catch up on what has happened in the past 50 years. PLEASE plan to be there to share in the joy! !

Can you believe it? Our 50th Class Reunion. We will be celebrating with a two day party.
Friday August 13th at North Canyon City Park and Saturday August 14th at Eaglewood Golf Course. Please save these dates so that you can be with us for all the fun.
